I'd take all the pain away and replace it with glee
if only that was the way life could be.
Grief is a cycle with its own twists and turns
and sometimes in its hellfire we burn.
Don't allow her to control your moods;
it's so much easier to say than to do.
But she didn't deserve your goodness and light
if for your love she wasn't willing to fight.
I know that you are going to do GREAT things
and it hurts to know that about yourself less you'd think
but everyone gets a chance to hurt
so I'll sit by you 'till you feel your worth.
